I love body sprays and have ever since I was in high school. For starters, they tend to be way more economical than perfumes. This, in turn, makes them ideal for trying one time, using it up, and then moving on to another scent. In other words, body sprays are perfect to change with the seasons in an effort to get in the mood. Secondly, body sprays are just fun! You can use them frequently without going overboard and are a perfect “pick-me-up” throughout the day. So what is better than an economical, seasonal body spray that you buy at the store? Well, an all-natural one that you can make at your home for just a few cents of course! So if you are ready to get into the mood for spring, and save a bunch of money too, then read on.
Rosemary Mint Mist
If you are looking for a spring fragrance that is more herbal than floral, then look no further than this. The peppermint makes this a quite energizing scent. How perfect would this be in the afternoon after you’ve spent some time outdoors?

Real Floral Scent
If, on the other hand, you are craving something that is truly floral and makes you feel like you are walking in a garden on a beautiful spring day, then you need to try this rose-scented body spray. Oh, and did I mention that it only requires two ingredients? Once you buy them, you can make lots and lots of this luscious spray!

Purifying Linen & Body Spray
This purifying spray will just make you feel clean, like white laundry gently blowing in the sun. Whip some of this up and carry it around with you to use after the gym, a long hike, or planting flowers outside.

Grapefruit Lavender Body Spray
I love grapefruit and l love lavender. So what could possibly be better than combining the two in this body spray?! This recipe gets its scent from essential oils. So you can adjust the fragrance to suit your preferences. You can make it more floral and less citrusy or vice versa.

Jasmine Aloe Perfume Body Spray
If you are looking for a floral body mist that is also moisturizing to the skin, then this is the one for you! The aloe vera is what provides the moisturization while the witch hazel helps lock it in. Word to the wise though, spritz this body spray only while you are wearing your birthday suit. You don’t need to moisturize your clothes, right?

Himalayan Sea Salt Body Spray
This body spray is just so beautiful to look at, right? Keep in mind that if you use essential oils they are light-sensitive. So this body spray would actually be better off in a darker bottle. The sea salt isn’t just for looks though. It is packed full of minerals that are beneficial to the skin. Also, this recipe calls for vanilla, which to me is more of a fall/winter scent, but you can add whatever essential oils you wish. I would recommend Bergamot, Geranium, or Neroli for spring.

Lavender Lemonade Body Spray
If you want another lavender and citrus combination but aren’t digging the grapefruit that was used in one of the sprays above, try this Lavender Lemonade version. It also contains sandalwood essential oil to help ground the scent further. Absolutley divine!

A Word About Curated Posts
The above is a curated post. Some people call them round-ups, but I like the phrase “curated post” a lot better because I have spent hours putting each of these lists together. I have been a Pinterest junkie for years, and I am always looking for the newest or best or most interesting DIY project out there. Finding these items, testing them, and then using them on a daily basis is so much fun AND, I have discovered, helps save me money.
